Accessibility

This site is built to be usable by as many people as possible, including with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or reduced motion enabled.

What has been done

  • All text and interface colour combinations meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA contrast, verified by calculation rather than by eye.
  • Semantic HTML with landmark regions, one h1 per page and no skipped heading levels.
  • Full keyboard operation with a visible focus indicator that meets contrast requirements on every background it appears on.
  • Form fields have persistent visible labels; errors are conveyed by text as well as colour.
  • All animation is disabled when the operating system requests reduced motion.
  • Touch targets are at least 44 × 44 pixels.
  • Content is readable and functional at 200% zoom and at 320 pixels wide.

Known gaps

  • Image placeholders will need real, descriptive alternative text when photography is added.
  • Any third-party booking widget added later must be tested separately: several popular schedulers are not fully accessible.
